Child and Family Services Clinic
The mission of the Child & Family Services Clinic (CFSC) is to provide affordable, evidence-based mental health care to the children and families of the Lawrence community and surrounding areas. As a training clinic for the Clinical Child Psychology program at the University of Kansas, all treatment at CFSC is conducted by graduate student therapists under the direct supervision of licensed psychologists.
The Child and Family Services Clinic offers treatment, assessment, and consultation services for a wide range of issues, including learning problems, developmental delays, emotional-behavioral concerns, aggression, anxiety, depression, abuse, stress, pain, school difficulty, toileting problems, nonadherence to medical regimens, and obesity. Individual, family, and group therapy options are available on a sliding fee scale. Services are both offered on site and in school and home settings.
